Looks up the lead. Does not judge the dog.

Knew exactly what she wanted and found it quickly. Not afraid to give all awards to the same person (OH over PH) if the dogs are deserving.

Good mix of smooth and rough coat exhibits (some nationally ranked), put up every smooth in the ring. Not worth an entry if there the possibility of a smooth walking by the ring.

very pleasant but a mystery - put a puppy bitch up for BOB over a special while ignoring very very similar litter mate puppy dog in the classes.

The show: Richmond Dog Fanciers Club - Dixon, CA – Saturday August 2, 2014 The entry: 5-13-6-6 Our experience: Saturday was hot in Dixon, and a midday ring time with temperatures well over 100 was challenging for many of our squishy faced friends. Mrs. Cozart was patient with both the exhibitors and the dogs. She worked with her ring steward to reposition the exam table so that it was in direct line with two large fans, and she split the large breed ring to give the dogs and their people a bit of a rest. Both Dalmatian and Boston people told me she approached each exhibitor and asked if they were ready before she proceeded with the exam. She gave every dog that entered her ring her undivided attention, and when she made her cut, she gave the remaining exhibitors (amateur and professional alike) ample time to bring out the best in their exhibits before she made her final decision. I found her choices consistent… substantial and expressive dogs with nice toplines and confident movement. Yes, we did well… our girl took Best Opposite over some very deserving specials. But I’m pretty confident she’d be on our “green” list even if we hadn’t made the cut. She made the experience a pleasant one for the dogs, the handlers and the spectators. This is our recreation… and I’ll reward judges who make it fun with an entry whenever I can.

Judge is very polite and easy with the dogs. The problem was I could not figure out what she was looking for. Her WD,WB and BOB were all different types. When it came to BOB it was apparent who was at the end of the lead was her choice.

Very pleasant judge to show to. Very soft handed to the young dog. I would show to her again.

I have always found this judge to be exceptionally good with the dogs and gives them plenty of time to set up on the table. But today it seemed it was all about the handlers. WD/BOB was a nice example of the breed. WB was too long, too short legged and had a huge dip in her topline but shown by a handler. There were nicer examples to choose from. If there was a handler in the class, they won.

Very heavy handed with 12-18 dog Ms. Cozart was told up front was nervous. Had already gone over his head, went to shoulders, came back to head again and dog leaned into handler. Ms. Cozart came in to touch head again and dog snapped. She offered to try again warning that she would DQ if he snapped again. We didn't understand what about the dog, the standard, or anything presented in KCA Judges' Education could be evaluated by continuing to push a guardian breed that had already given all the appropriate low level signs to "don't touch me again".

In Poms, prefers a small, very cute faced pom, will put up puppies. Will consider a quality owner/handled dog over the pros, even at breed level. Has appreciated dogs I bred even when judging overseas, so pretty consistent in type.

Wonderful judge. Judges the correct end of the lead. Does not care who is handling the dog. Wish we had more like her!! We need judges to be judging the dogs so we do not loose our breed standards!

I liked this judge very much. She was excellent on the table, examining only the necessary parts, and then she judges them on the floor like a minpin is supposed to. Chooses the dog she likes best and that is what they are supposed to do isnt it?

Very gentle and patient with puppies. Well thought out choices and made it worth everyone's time to be in the ring. I would show to her again. I will say that she is not afraid to excuse an aggressive dog as I saw her do that in Frenchies right after we showed.

Found her to be a good judge looking at the correct end of the lead

Friendly and gracious in the ring. Good with puppies and I felt she gave each dog a good and fair look.

I have not a clue what she thinks is doing judging Working breeds. Very scarey!!

Wants to reward best dog. She appears to examine on the table, but judges on the floor. Will continue to show under this judge.
